Transport
By Road: The main road into the park is from Nairobi via Namanga (240 km) on the Nairobi – Arusha Road, through Meshanani Gate. The other road is from Nairobi via Emali (228 km) on the Nairobi – Mombasa Road. Access from Mombasa is mainly through Tsavo West National Park via Kimana (Olkelunyiet) Gate.
By Air: Airstrips: The park has a single airstrip for light aircrafts at Empusel gate. Other airstrips exist at Kilimanjaro Buffalo Lodge and Namanga town.

Itinerary
We will leave Nairobi CBD at 0800hrs from the Saldoma tours and Travel main offices (pensionTowers).Alternatively we can pick you up from your desired location if that's where you'd want.Take in the breathtaking scenery as you travel the Nairobi - Mombasa Highway to Amboseli National Park. A very leisurely journey across the savannah that will take you to your destination in 3-4 hours, just in time for lunch. You will Enjoy the convenience of settling into your tent or lodging in comfort. Dine well, relax, and take advantage of the facilities. We shall then go on a thrilling game drive in the afternoon. with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will be delighted to see the large elephants, several of which may be seen with enormous ivory tusks. Taking in nature in all of its unadulterated beauty while Observing big wildlife and birds. Your tour guide will drop you off to the hotel you have booked for supper and the night in the evening.
When on safari, we like to get up early to start the day with an adventurous mindset. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the Amboseli plains for an adventure-filled day. Take in the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds gather over the peak. Watch the savannah's large cats as they wander around. This is the ideal time of the day to see cheetahs, leopards, and lions. In order to give you a greater overview of the park, our game drive will also take you to the observation hill. Enjoy the sight of large herds of elephants passing close to your car as you attempt to identify over 400 different kinds of birds and over 80 different types of animals. You may incorporate a visit to the nearby Masai tribal village to enhance the diversity of your safari experience. The singing and dancing that are a part of their everyday routines and holy rites are revealed during this visit. It's fascinating to get a peek at their social structures and dwellings. After having a picnic lunch, go on with the game drive. You will return to your lodge in the evening to unwind, have supper, and spend the night.
Wake up early and enjoy your final moments at the hotel. After breakfast, check out, have a dip in the pool, make use of the facilities, and meet your tour guide for the final game run before we leave the park. The journey out of the park in the morning is quite satisfying. Get the opportunity to see lions, buffalo, and elephant herds. Admire the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro while keeping an eye on the predators as they either hunt or consume their victim.
